What can be a stressful start for a day than chasing official endless deadlines, getting stuck in huge traffic and last but not the least your meeting schedules? We all go through life’s ups and downs and a person cannot take out time from their busy schedule. At this point in time, we need to be re-charged our inner batteries like going for a long walk, breathing in the fresh air or swimming at a beach to get a little peace of mind in our busy lives. We often priorities stress over our ‘me time’ and on loose on moments of ‘now’.
As I was going for the very first time for scuba diving, a professional trainer took me from the speed boat at the scuba diving spot. The trainer got me ready with all the equipment along with Diving Mask, Swim fins, Diving cylinder, and Diving regulator. Training is given by the trainer with all the equipment which included how to breathe and use the oxygen cylinder and regulator in water and then all the other 10 divers, including myself. I was the odd one in all being the only first-timer and non-swimmer among all the professionals.
It took about 35 minutes by boat to reach the island. As soon as we arrived on the island, all the divers jumped into the water. I felt left out while they jumped straight into the water as I had to practice diving in shallow water first. That took me a little bit of time to take my first jump into the water. My trainer kept guiding me about the breathing through the regulator and trainer took me into the water about 25 feet down. You will feel the struggle of breathing from mouth, but you can’t help but swallow the salty water. What engrossed me intensively was the sound of my own breath underwater. It was Mesmerizing. Me and my trainer I kept swimming deeper and deeper. And my trainer kept guiding me through the hand instructions to make sure I was alright.
Bungee jumping Goa is exciting as well as amazing. There is no particular time to enjoy this thrilling activity, you can play out this game whenever in Goa and in each season.
Being non-swimmer and who is more excited and hyper, I had to get used to of slow-moving of the water. Everything became a slow bottom of underwater. The trainer took a small round and showed me marine life which was plants, rocks and various types of fish and explored the deep water as much I could. It was majestic seeing the school of fish and the structure of plants and rocks underwater.
The occurrence left me calm and relaxed. Being underwater, with weights pulling you down, I released that there was no gravitational pull. All I had to keep in mind to just blow the air continuously to neutralist the water. And when I looked around, I was amazed to see at the infinite lengths of the ocean. Was able to see the clear-cut beauty of the underwater or rather I can say that gave me the chance to be a part of marine life and experience the world of fishes. And finally gave a wow gesture to my trainer by my hand notifying that fully satisfying scuba diving session.
Exploring nature is deliberation in itself. It is a kind of dream that you do want to come back from… Swimming with a shoal of fish and plants tickling you with their smallest touch throughout your diving underwater. And the unbounded vision of water around you.
